On this course, participants will use water supply
network modelling software to study network planning
and operation. Course contents include the structure
of regional water supply networks, network alignment
planning, the calculation of the design water flow in a
water supply network, and the computer-aided design
of a natural storm water system.
Building information modelling course in water
supply services and infrastructure (5 credits)
This building information modelling (BIM) course
provides participants with an in-depth understanding
of the practical uses of BIM in water supply services
and infrastructure, based on a genuine commission
and site materials. The course provides answers to
the following questions: What does the construction
planning of a street and water supply network involve
and how can BIM be used in this?
